Aggressive biter. Found in coastal and wetland areas of southern Ontario.
Our Process
How We Eliminate Mosquitoes
A science-based, 4-step approach that treats the root cause — not just the symptoms.
Property Assessment + Breeding Site Identification
We walk your property identifying standing water, dense vegetation, and conditions creating mosquito harborage. Many breeding sites are non-obvious (saucers under plants, gaps in tarps, clogged gutters).
Vegetation Barrier Treatment
We apply low-impact adulticide to the underside of leaves, shrubs, and ground cover where mosquitoes shelter during the day. This reduces the resting adult population by up to 90% within 24 hours.
Larval Control (Larviciding)
For standing water that can't be drained, we apply BTi (Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) — a biological larvicide safe for wildlife, birds, fish, and pets but lethal to mosquito larvae.
Ongoing Seasonal Program
A single treatment lasts 3–4 weeks. Our VIP and ELITE plans include mosquito control to maintain protection through the full season (May–September). Each visit includes a re-assessment of breeding sites.

Common Questions
Mosquitoes Control — FAQ
Is mosquito control included in your plans?
Yes — our VIP plan includes a FREE one-time mosquito control treatment. Our ELITE monthly plan includes full ongoing mosquito control throughout the season. Both plans include seasonal re-treatment to maintain protection.
Is mosquito treatment safe for kids, pets, and birds?
Yes. We use Health Canada–registered products and BTi biological larvicide, which is specifically approved for use around water features, birdbaths, and properties with pets. Products are applied to vegetation — not open water or food-contact surfaces.
How long does mosquito treatment last?
Barrier treatments typically last 3–4 weeks depending on rainfall. Our ELITE plan includes monthly re-treatment throughout the season to maintain continuous protection.
Can I do anything to reduce mosquitoes myself?
Yes — eliminate all standing water: empty and scrub birdbaths weekly, unclog gutters, drill drainage holes in container bottoms, and treat decorative ponds with BTi dunks. But for significant reduction on a larger property, professional barrier treatment is the most effective option.
Does mosquito control affect bees or butterflies?
Our application method (underside of leaves in shaded areas where mosquitoes rest) minimizes contact with pollinators, which primarily visit open flowers in sunny areas. We avoid treating flowering plants and can schedule treatment for early morning when pollinators are least active.
