A wasp nest in the front eaves, handled by the end of the day
An active nest above the front door, assessed and treated the same visit, with a follow-up to make sure it stayed quiet.
The situation
Wasps were streaming in and out of a gap in the front eaves, right over the main entrance — the kind of nest you can’t ignore and shouldn’t try to knock down yourself.
What had been tried
Nothing yet, sensibly. Stinging-insect nests in eaves and soffits are where DIY sprays cause the most stings, because the nest is rarely where the opening is.
What we found
Our technician traced the flight line to the actual nest cavity behind the fascia, not just the visible opening, and confirmed it was wasps rather than a protected pollinator.
What we did
Treated the nest cavity directly, treated the surrounding eave line so the colony couldn’t rebuild next to it, and left a photo report. A follow-up check a few days later confirmed the activity was gone.
Result
By the end of the day there were hardly any wasps left; the follow-up found none. Covered nest removal like this is included on every Sani IQ Protect plan.
